A Note From a Past Student:

 

     I was lucky enough to have Ms. Metoyer as my fifth grade teacher. I believe that many of the same qualities that made her an excellent teacher will also make her an exceptional School Board Trustee. While we covered all of the standard elementary school topics, one thing that was different was the Parent Letter. Every Friday we would write a letter home, not only informing our parents of what we had learned that week, but also of any upcoming projects for which we should be prepared. Those letters embody the pattern of clear communication, goal setting, and accountability that Ms. Metoyer maintains herself. It is because of these personal qualifications, along with her experience as a parent, teacher, and administrator in Newport-Mesa, that I will be voting for Charlene Metoyer. It's why I urge everyone else to do so as well.
